"If I buy directly from the Listing Agent, I will get a better deal.
The Reality is: When you have no representation, there is no side negotiating on your behalf even though you may feel that Listing Agent is doing so. Both ethically, and legally, the listing agent is required to negotiate the best price and terms for his/her seller, especially when representing both sides.
(In a court case you don't expect your opponent's attorney to represent your case, it works similarly in real estate.)

I am one of 5 in a family whom every member obtained their real estate license at a very your age, beginning with my father whom obtained his in 1959, and 49 years later, he still holds an active broker's license in Boston, Massachusetts.
In my 17 years as a licensed REALTOR I have been representing clients in buying and selling residential, commercial properties, merging, acquiring, and spinning off companies, and consulted with start-up to fortune 500 businesses.
